Our Story
A JarSmall Batch
Big Dill Energy
We take our puns
seriously. Everything
else, we brine.
Pickles Puns started as a joke that refused to be pickled away. Now it’s a whole jar of them — fresh, crunchy, and occasionally a little too much vinegar.
How it all fermented
It began the way most terrible ideas do: someone said “that’s a great pickle pun” out loud, unprompted, at dinner. Nobody laughed. We wrote it down anyway. A few hundred puns, several groans from family members, and one very patient web developer later, Pickles Puns was born — a home for pun-lovers, pickle enthusiasts, and anyone who has ever texted a joke and immediately regretted it.
We’re not chefs, comedians, or fermentation scientists. We’re just people who think a good pun deserves the same care as a good brine: time, patience, and a little bit of salt.
What’s actually in the jar
Pun Library
Hundreds of pickle, cucumber, and brine-based puns, sorted so you can actually find the one you need.
Fresh Drops
New puns added regularly, because a jar that never gets refilled is just sad and empty.
Zero Judgment
Whether you need a caption, a greeting card line, or a way to break the ice at a party — we won’t ask why.
Why pickles, specifically
Because “puns” alone is a crowded market, and pickles are criminally underrated as comedy material. They’re crunchy, they’re briny, they show up uninvited to every sandwich — basically the vegetable equivalent of a dad joke. It was fate, honestly. Or fermentation. Hard to tell the difference sometimes.
